Recently, a rumor had claimed that an upcoming Galaxy C-series smartphone from Samsung will be the company’s first to feature a dual-camera setup at the back. Turns out the rumor wasn’t fake, as a new image showing the upcoming handset has leaked on the web today, showing a vertically laid out dual-camera setup at the back. A dual-LED flash can also be seen placed between the two cameras.
The image was posted on Weibo, popular Chinese microblogging site. Unfortunately, the source did not include any other info along with the image, so we still have no idea regarding the actual hardware inside the smartphone. As far as the design is concerned, we can see that the Galaxy C10 is not very different from the previous Galaxy C-series handsets, at least from the back. The smartphone appears to have similar antenna bands at the top and the power button positioning is also identical. Of course, the Rose Gold color cannot be ignored either. We do not see any fingerprint scanner at the back, which suggests Samsung’s next Galaxy C smartphone will continue to feature a fingerprint sensor on the front.
While the design of the smartphone doesn’t reveal any surprise, we’re definitely curious about the display size of the handset. Going by the Galaxy C10 name, it does seem like the smartphone could turn out to be the biggest member of the Galaxy C-series lineup yet. Since the Galaxy C9 Pro sports a 6-inch display, we’re guessing the Galaxy C10 will feature a 6.0+ inch sized display. Some rumors suggest the smartphone is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC under the hood, which would mean the Galaxy C10 will also be the most powerful Galaxy C-series smartphone yet. The Snapdragon 660 chip inside the Galaxy C10 is likely to be paired with at least 4GB of RAM, but we do think that 6GB is more likely.
What are your thoughts on the Galaxy C10?
