Samsung Galaxy Music Release Date and Specs Rumored

Galaxy-Music-Phone

It seems like Samsung is really trying to overcome Apple lately, as more and more interesting (at least on paper) gadgets are being prepared for a soon to come release. The same can be said when it comes to the recently leaked and rumored Galaxy Music, which apparently will be another epic fail from Samsung. Why am I saying that? Well, that’s easy, as the Galaxy Music will be no more than an entry level, low budget smartphone. We have the specs list and the probable release date, so for more aspects about this new phone, check the following lines.

So, the Galaxy Music is just a regular handset, with nothing to impress. I think that probably a classic music player with Android on top and other music dedicated features would have been a better idea, but Samsung decided to bring this unexpected device. According to the latest leaked info, the Music doesn’t bring dedicated apps as anyone thought, its only music related features being the two speakers on both the sides of the case. And no, the performances are not high end as you will be able to buy a regular, or more proper outdated, smartphone.

Anyway, the Samsung Galaxy Music specs should include a small 3 inch 320×240 (QVGA) TN LCD display, a Cortex A9 850Mhz processor, 512 MB of RAM, only 4 GB of internal storage memory and a 1300 mAh battery. The Ice Cream Sandwich OS will be installed along with the usual WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and WiFi Direct. So, nothing to impress so far; it’s true though that these are only rumors, therefore maybe more features and apps will be added into the system until the official launch date comes.

The Galaxy Music will be offered in two versions, the classic one and the Music Duos which brings dual SIM capabilities. Furthermore, according to our sources, the SG Music release date should be October 11 and the event should take place in Frankfurt. The price tag is still unknown but it must be an affordable one for this entry level Android powered smartphone.

That it is all we could find out, but an official press release is being expected from Samsung. So, stay close and check for the same. Until then, feel free and share your opinions and impressions (use the comments area from below) about the Samsung Galaxy Music smartphone.
