The official Android 4.4.2 KitKat OTA update has been released today for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 LTE tablet.
The update is currently pushed to Nordic European countries while the rest of the world should follow soon.
This new update comes with the XXUCNE2 firmware version and it brings fixes for the overall UI along with the white Status bar icons from KitKat, fullscreen album art for apps that you use to listen to music, immersive mode, better multi-tasking support, wireless printing is now available for this tablet, too, better performance, improved sound settings for various Samsung applications, and more.
Usually updates are sent OTA (over-the-air) to all devices or via Samsung KIES. You simply need to use an active Internet connection and the official notification will be sent to your Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet. If the update is available then it would be best for you to use a Wi-Fi connection in order to download and install it.
When the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXUCNE2 is released to your region you simply have to click the notification and then confirm the installation. Note that this update is released in phases and the new files might not reach your device first.

Note that in case your tablet runs on a custom ROM, then this update will not be released for it and you will have to find an alternative method to install it. Usually, new Android 4.4.2 KitKat updates can be flashed over custom ROMs using Odin and the P605XXUCNE2 firmware file.
If you’re on stock Android and the update notification hasn’t been released you can check yourself for new files by going through Settings> About Device and then clicking the ‘Software Updates’ menu. Confirm installation if there is any new update file available for download and then the tablet will take care of the rest.
