Samsung Galaxy Note has proven to be a very successful product for Samsung, with over 5 million shipments world wide, so rumors started appearing about an all-new Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Unfortunately Samsung hasn’t released any official statement yet, but chances are there will be a follow-up, most probably this year.
We have received information from multiple sources that Samsung is preparing to release the new Galaxy Note 2 by Christmas, this year, and we also have some brief details about its specs, though they said nothing is sure right now. The new Galaxy Note 2 should use the Exynos 4412 quad-core chip, clocked at 1.4 Ghz and a 5.65-inch 1080p display.
According to our sources it should also get a RAM boost to 1.5GB and one of the best news is the 3100 mAh battery, though it will be non-removable.
At the moment, the Galaxy Note is still one of the most powerful smartphones on the market, with a 1.4Ghz dual-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. It’s 720p HD display is simply superb and there aren’t many smartphones that can compete with it.
Hopefully we will hear soon about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2, though chances are the Galaxy S 3 will come sooner.
