The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the South Korean company’s chance to fix all the aspects that were considered a disappointment when the Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship saw the light of day mid March. We all know that the Samsung Galaxy S4 has its flaws and this might be one of the reasons why the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumors are piling up.
News.mydrivers.com website want us to believe that they are the first to get their hands on solid proof about the next model that will join the Samsung Galaxy Note family. According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will sport a 5.99-inch display, with a quality that outmaches what the smartphone market currently offers.
It seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs will not disappoint anyway, as the next-gen phablet will be even more powerful than the Galaxy S4. Moreover, the rumor mill speculates that the Galaxy Note 3, will be the first device to come with a plastic Super AMOLED display that will make it almost impossible to crack.
Well, as you probably expected the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be underpinned by a Exynos 5 Octa chipset. Compared to the Exynos 5 Octa SoC fitted inside the Galaxy S4 (four 1.6 GHz A15 and four 1.2 GHz A7 cores) the unit squeezed under the hood of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is based on four Cortex A15 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz.
Besides the mighty processing solution powering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the new Samsung phablet will also come with 3 GB of RAM, which will provide multitasking benefits that will be way above the competition. Rumor has it that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and that it is codenamed GT-i9500.
The Asian publication doesn’t mention anything about the Galaxy Note 3 release date. Anyway, it seems that the new phablet will follow the launch pattern of its predecessors. Both the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note 2 were announced around the IFA Berlin event. While the first one debuted during the Berlin-based tech fair, the latter debuted in the week prior to the event, during a Samsung Unpacked conference. In my opinion, that’s what we should expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date. Since the IFA Berlin 2013 will open its gates for the public on September 6th, we might be seeing the Galaxy Note 3 in flash in the week prior to IFA debut, in the September 1 – 5 time frame.
