Every phablet lover is expecting the Galaxy Note 3 as it’s the most popular phablet and the original Note has been the first phablet on the market. We’ve seen a lot of rumored release dates, but we know that Samsung is going to announce it on September 4, though we aren’t sure when they are going to ship it.
According to a new rumor by SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 3 release date will be week 36 of this year, which begins on September 2. This means that Samsung is going to ship it right next after the official announcement, which is going to be really nice. They are also reporting that it will come with 32GB of internal storage, jumping from 16GB, which is one more great news.
We’re expecting to see the Galaxy Note 3 first released in Europe and South Korea, with the US to follow shortly after. Unfortunately this is because US carriers have to take their time to bloat the device and add their logos on the case, while in most European countries it comes clean during the first months, until carriers manage to add their bloatware.
The Galaxy Note 3 should be the most powerful smartphone once it gets released and we expect to see a 2 Ghz Octa core processor, 3GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, along with a 13MP camera and a 3MP secondary camera. Now that the release date is so close, we should start seeing more leaks, as the device should be already finished. It should come with the same price tag as the original Note and Note 2, while the previous versions should get cheaper.
We hope Google to choose it for its Google Play Edition program, though we aren’t so sure about it due to the stylus and the drivers needed for it. But maybe Google decides to include a phablet in their lineup, so we can keep our Galaxy Note 3 up-to-date with the latest Android versions.
The Galaxy Gear should be released on week 40, which begins on September 30. We’ve already told you about it a few days ago, when we found out that Samsung is going to introduce it along with the Note 3 at IFA Berlin, on September 4.
