Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is no doubt one of the most anticipated smartphones of the second half of the year. As we are getting closer to the Galaxy Note 4 release date more details of the yet-unannounced terminal are surfacing online. After we’ve heard a lot of Note 4 rumors over the past few months, Indonesia-based online retailer Erafone listed the new handset on their site, revealing most of its hardware specifications.
We already know what to expect from the next-gen Samsung phablet after all the reports that made the headlines lately. While confirming some of the previous reports, the Erafone listing has a couple of surprises for us. According to the Asian retailer, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution and a pixel density of 515 ppi. The handset also features a 16 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus, and LED flash, while running Android 4.4.3 KitKat out of the box.
The new leak also reveals that Galaxy Note 4 will be available in three storage options, 16/32/64 GB, all with support for microSD expansion up to 128 GB. Just like everyone was anticipating the new handset will be powered by two different processor, depending on the market on which is sold. It will have either a quad-core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU or an octo-core Exynos 5433 CPU (Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A53 & quad-core Cortex A57). The technical specifications also include Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy and microUSB 3.0.
Unfortunately, there’s no mention of the dimensions or the battery of Galaxy Note 4. Anyway, the listing does mention the price. The handset has a price tag of IDR 9,499,000, about $817. The fingerprint sensor, the heart rate monitor, and the rumored UV sensor are also missing from the description.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to see the light of day latter next month at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The said event will be held September 3rd during IFA 2014 Berlin tech fair. A couple of days ago we’ve been able to take a look at the first leaked photos of the Galaxy Note 4. You can check them out here.
