The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date is less then a month away and, as we are getting closer to the event, more details about the new handset are surfacing online. Samsung’s previous launches have shown us that each time a new flagship is revealed, the South Korean company also introduces loads of new accessories. The latest reports are indicating that Sammy is preparing an interesting ultrasonic cover for the Galaxy Note 4.
A source familiar to the matter has told Sammobile that the South Korean company is readying an ultrasonic cover for the Galaxy Note 4, capable of detecting objects around the user holding the device and provide feedback. It seems that the new ultrasonic cover is build to help the visually impaired. Even so, the description reads that “it cannot replace a cane and should never be used as a mobility aid or substitute for any mobility aid tool.”
Unfortunately, there’s no way to verify the veracity of the report, therefore we recommend you to take it with a pinch of salt. After all, nothing is official until Samsung says so.
We’ve heard a lot of rumors about the Galaxy Note 4 in the last couple of weeks, but the latest leaks have managed to paint a pretty clear image of the upcoming Samsung flagship phablet. It seems that the highly-anticipated smartphone will boast about a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution, while being underpinned by a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. If the leaks prove accurate the Galaxy Note 4 will also arrive with 4 GB of RAM, 16 MP primary shooter with 4K video recording support and OIS, 16/32/64 GB storage, and microSD support. Besides sporting fingerprint and heart rate sensors, the rumor mill also indicates that the new handset might also integrate an UV sensor.
As I was mentioning above, the Galaxy Note 4 release date is right around the corner. The new Samsung smartphone will be officially introduced on September 3rd, during the company’s Unpacked even held at IFA Berlin 2014. What are your expectations for the new smartphone? Please let us know in comments.
