Samsung has launched a new smartphone with a bent display, the Galaxy Note Edge. The launch took place in Berlin at this year’s IFA event and the new device it’s basically a Galaxy Note 4 with a small curve on one of its sides.

This Galaxy Note Edge by Samsung resembles the Note 4 not only in looks, but in specs too. The screen of this new ‘revolutionary’ device is smaller overall by 0.1 inches than its original counterpart and it should provide an easier way for user to view and sort notifications without fully unlocking their devices. This design has already been demoed by Samsung years before and it seems like today was the today when they thought that the world is ready for the Galaxy Note Edge phone.

The Galaxy Note Edge is running the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with TouchWiz UI.
