Samsung Galaxy Premier Specs Leaked; not Galaxy Nexus 2 as Rumored

Samsung-Galaxy-Premier1

I bring fresh news for those of you who were eager to find out more info about the new and long rumored Galaxy Nexus 2; unfortunately, the GT-I9260 device, which was speculated to be the next Nexus is not what most of us thought. Apparently the smartphone will be named Galaxy Premier (another rumored name for the same GT-I9260) and its first specs and features aspects were finally revealed. But, there are still doubts related to this smartphone as the opinions are rather divided than shared between Android users and also experts, so take the following lines as rumors and not as real facts.

So, as you can see in the leaked image from above, the Samsung GT-I9260 is looking like a new Nexus, with the same 4.65 inch with 1280 x 720 pixels display, but the TouchWiz interface is saying a different thing though. Anyway, if the picture is real, then we can say that the smartphone will look good as the design is being similar with the Nexus family one. If you can remember, another thing was uncertain about the “probable” Galaxy Premier: the camera. Well, now we do know that it will be featuring an 8 MP one and not the low end 5 MP rumored camera.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Premier specs will include a 1.5 GHz dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, the mentioned 8 MP camera on the back along with a 2 MP front facing one, 1GB of RAM memory (we don’t know for sure if this is true), 8 or 64 GB of internal storage space and an 4.65 inch Super AMOLED display.

Beside these the GT-I9260 will feature the usual Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi a / b / g / n 2.4/5GHz, DLNA, NFC and the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. So, what do you think, is this a great phone, or it is just a mid-range one? If you ask me, it is not suitable for the Nexus 2 name, but who am I to judge?

That’s all we got, as there are no words about the Galaxy Premier release date, future availably on the market or pricing offers, so we must wait for further news.

    Boo… I don’t want another touchwiz phone. And I don’t want an SD-less Nexus. I guess I lose…
