After seeing a lot of false pictures and hearing a bunch of rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S3, we now deserve a little reward (nutella someone?) for our patience, and we shall get it. The Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300) is now revealing its face with a couple of pictures, a video and some specs. Let’s see what the guys at Samsung have been working on.
Here are the pictures (click to enlarge):
And here’s the Samsung Galaxy S III reveal video:
If this is the real Samsung Galaxy S III, I hope that’s just a dummy casing. Why? It’s ugly and there’s nothing changed about the design, they removed the home button of course, but that’s all, no other design improvements. They’ve done nothing to make the phone more pleasing to the eye. Physical design is not the only issue, the TouchWiz on the Galaxy S III is not very stylish and I would easily go for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus if these two phones were to be put in a dog fight for aesthetics.
Aside from the design, the Samsung Galaxy S III comes packed with the Quad-Core 1.4 GHz Exynos processor, Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera, a beautiful 720p HD display, and NFC. These specs would make the iPhone 4S go to its corner and cry like a baby, but who knows maybe the iPhone 5 will defend his older relative.
