Samsung Galaxy S2 and Note to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean soon
Samsung has been very busy lately with their Android devices and it seems like they are now working on a Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. Along with these two updaltes, Samsung is also preparing to release the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 10.1 devices.
It seems like Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note users will get the Jelly Bean update in October, while Galaxy S3 users will get the taste even earlier.
Android Jelly Bean 4.1 comes with some great new features, like Google Now, an improved UI, new notifications UI and some improvements. Fortunately, every device that supports Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich can be updated to Jelly Bean, as it’s mostly the same operating system.
Jelly Bean has proven to be much smoother than ICS, and along with its new features, it makes for an impressive mobile OS. While Android phone makers struggle to release Jelly Bean devices and to update their older ones to the new version, Apple is preparing to release a competitor for them, which is the iPhone 5 with the updated iOS 6.
Fortunately Samsung will move faster and release the updates soon, as these dates are just rumors currently, though we believe they are true.
