There is a plethora of mid-range smartphones that Samsung keeps launching from time to time. There are a lot to choose from and one of them is the Galaxy S2 Plus which is available in Finland.
€378 is the price that Finish retailer gigantti.fi asks for the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus. Due to the fact that it is the I9105P mode, it will have support for NFC. At the moment, the only available color version is the blue one, but rumor has it that the white variant will hit the shelves in March.
As for the hardware, the Galaxy S2 Plus comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz Broadcom BC28155 CPU with VideoCore IV GPU., 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The display has 4.3-inches in size and it’s a Super AMOLED with a pixel resolution of 800 x 480. Plus, the internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and it features an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP one in front. Also, it has a 1650mAh battery to keep it going on.
As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus is a mid-range smartphone, so the specs are not quite impressive. The only interesting feature is the OS as it’s very nice to have Jelly Bean right out of the box. This one strong point won’t last for a very long time as in March Samsung will release the Android 4.1 update for the original Galaxy S2.
