Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Update Rolling out at T-Mobile for LTE Variant

The Samsung Galaxy Android 4.3 update is now rolling out at T-Mobile. The new firmware is pushed to the LTE-enabled variant of the smartphone (SGH-T999L), soon after the carrier updated the Galaxy S3 SGH-T999 model.

As usual, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update is being rolled out in phases, so you might not be able to update your smartphone right away. If you didn’t receive the system update notification, you can perform a manual check under Settings > About phone > System Update > Check for updates. If this doesn’t work either, it means that you may have to wait a few more days until the update is ready for your terminal.

The Android 4.3 update for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-T999L is labeled T999LUVUBMK4 and, among others, it brings Galaxy Gear support, Samsung KNOX, camera tweaks, and performance improvements.

After you update your T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 you will be able to enjoy Galaxy S4 interface elemets, the new Samsung keyboard, multiple widgets for the lockscreen, Adapt Display and Professional Photo screen modes from Galaxy S4, Daydream, Driving mode, actionable notifications, tab-based Settings menu interface, improved Calculator, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Music apps, and many other such goodies.

Among the performance enhancements included in Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 T999LUVUBMK4 update you will find TRIM support, updated GPU drivers, and move-to-SD-card feature.

The Android 4.3 update for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE is available for download both OTA and via KIES. If you choose the first method it’s worth knowing that the update file is about 500 MB, so it’s recommended to download it using a stable WiFi connection.

I remind you that the Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2 GB RAM, 16/32/64 GB of microSD-expandable storage, 8 MP rear-mounted camera, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and microUSB 2.0, while the processing tasks are handled by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor.
