Samsung Galaxy S3 has been announced on May 3rd in London, UK, at the Unpacked event and it will be released in Europe on May 29th, though other areas may have to wait a little longer. Galaxy S3 is the most powerful device at the moment, bringing some impressive specs along with many new and useful features.
The Galaxy S3 features a quad-core 1.4Ghz Exynos 4 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 8MP camera with no shutter lag and an additional 1.9 MP frontal camera which is able to record 720p videos. It will come in three versions of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal memory. Some of the new features are S Voice, which is similar to Siri, though a bit more complex, as it allows you to control your phone functions using your voice.
Samsung’s latest flagship device will be released in the rest of the world, including the US and India in June. Currently we don’t have an exact date for the US, but the India release date is very clear – June 10th. The smartphone will be priced at Rs 38,000 ( 16GB ) and 41,000 ( 32GB ) in India and will be available both unlocked and on a subsidized contract.
Fortunately the release date is close and there is about a month until Indians will be able to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3. Though if you are eager to get the device earlier, I’m sure you will be able to order it from eBay and that some stores will import it before the official release date in India.
