Samsung Galaxy S3 has been announced this month at the Unpacked event, in London, and it will start shipping as of May 30th. Like you were expecting, those who want to be the first who get their hands on Samsung’s flagship device, can pre-order it. The Samsung India eStore is now taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S3 device.
If you want to make a pre-order right now, you will have to pay Rs 2,000, which will be discounted from the phone’s full price once it gets released. We believe Samsung decided to make this move in order to keep the Galaxy S3’s price a secret for the moment.
While the price hasn’t been made official yet, it’s expected to be around Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000. It’s weird that Samsung is expecting people to pre-order the device without knowing the full price their are going to pay once it gets released. It’s a really weird decision and we can’t be sure what determined them to take it.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most awaited devices in India and it’s probably going to follow Galaxy S2’s paths, which sold very much units. Samsung’s flasgship device features a quad-core 1.4Ghz Exynos 4 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.8-inch Super Amoled HD display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Touchwiz 4.0. It comes with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage, which can be extended by up to 64GB through the microSD slot and it’s 2,100 mAh offers it enough juice to go through one day of hardcore use.
