In case you were wondering when the Samsung Galaxy S4 will hit the stores in the US, the South Korea-based company issued a press release announcing that the new flagship smartphone will be available at “seven U.S. carriers and seven retailers beginning in April.”
Of course, Samsung didn’t mention the exact Samsung Galaxy S4 release date, nor its price, but at least it is assuring us that it will be available in April. Isn’t it a bit vague, guys?
We all expected the Samsung Galaxy S4 to hit the major US carriers later this month, and the new Samsung press release does nothing but confirming something that we already knew.
What we didn’t knew is all the carriers and retailers that will sell the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the US territory. Seven carriers will have the highly anticipated smartphone in their stores, according to Samsung’s press release: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Cricket, US Cellular, and C Spire. Even though MetroPCS wasn’t included on the list provided by the Samsung official statement, the Samsung Mobile US division twitted that the mobile phone service provider will also sell the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Of course, you will also be able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S4 from retailers and Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile, Costco, RadioShack, Sam’s Club, Staples, Target, and WalMart are all on the list.
What is a bit odd is that if you head to Samsung’s official website, you will be able to see that the Samsung Galaxy S4 registration page only lists Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon as “coming soon,” and also sends you to AT&T’s and US Cellular’s pre-order pages. Maybe the company will update its website in the coming hours.
