While we know that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released in many worldwide markets, with the major carriers already announced that they will stock the device, when it comes to pricing there aren’t many details. However, retailer Unlocked Mobiles is one of the first to offer information about how much the smartphone will cost in the UK. The retailer has confirmed that the people in the UK will be able to buy the off contract version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 at a price of £529.98. The price is no surprise for anyone as it’s similar to the one of other flagships such as the Sony Xperia Z and the HTC One.
In case you are not living in the UK, but have a friend there who could buy and send you the Galaxy S4, it means that you will have to pay around $800, which is a lot. However, we recommend that you wait until the device will officially be released in the US because it will be much cheaper.
According to Unlocked Mobiles, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will start shipping as of April 26, which is the same date when EE will make the device available for purchase.
While most of you are already familiar with the specs of the Galaxy S4, some of you may not. As a reminder, you should know that the device comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and it’s underpinned by the Exynos 5 Octa processor, which is helped by a PowerdVR SGX 544MP3 GPU. In terms of memory, the handset has 2 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 of internal storage.
It also features a 13 MP rear-facing camera that includes several new features, and a 2 MP secondary one capable of recording 1080p video. The Samsung Galaxy S4 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
