The folks at Phone Arena have a source that provided new information about the Samsung Galaxy S IV device that would reportedly arrive in April. SamMobile, on the other hand, is claiming that the phone will come in stores in March, but it seems it will be April after all.
It seems that Samsung expects this handset to sell more copies than the Galaxy S III, so it could reach 50 million units.
Rumor has it that Samsung Galaxy S4 is codenamed GT-I9500 Altius and that it will be available in black or white body liveries, packing a 2600 mAh battery and wireless charging kit. Other sources are reporting that the Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications list includes an Exynos 5 Octa processor (octo-core) with Mali T658 GPU (8 core).
As for the display, it is a Super AMOLED HD unit with full HD resolution, while other features include 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera on the back capable of 1,080p video capture at 30 frames per second, plus front-facing 2 MP sensor.
If the rumors are accurate and Samsung Galaxy S4 release date is April, then the next generation Samsung flagship will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
Do you think that Galaxy S4 will be launched in April or that the South Koreans will launch it sometime later? Or maybe earlier…
