Samsung Galaxy S4 Specs Revealed

Samsung Galaxy S4 Official specs have been revealed

Samsung Galaxy S4 has been officially presented today at the UNPACKED 2013 conference in New York City and we finally found out all the new hardware and software goodies that will be released with it. The device should be shipped out starting with April and it will hit over 155 countries worldwide.

The Galaxy S4 specs are as following: 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, an 1080p 5-inch Super AMOLED Display with 441ppi and Full HD video recording support, 13 MP back facing camera, 2MP frontal camera, 2600 mAh battery, 3G and 4G LTE network, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE, GPS/ GLONASS, IR LED ( infrared remote control), multiple new sensors and an internal storage space of up to 64GB plus a micro SD slot up to another 64GB.

The new Galaxy S4 will be available in two models, the US one and the International variant. The International Galaxy S4 will pack an Exynos 5 Octa ( 8-core) CPU with the model number I9500. On the other hand, the US variant of Galaxy S4 packs the 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 which is optimized for better handling of 4G LTE networks, and it has the model number I9505.

The stock OS is the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it should bring an improved TouchWiz Nature UX which will make your Galaxy S4 better than ever. Also, there are tons of new features and tools that should improve the overall experience of Samsung enthusiasts, as you will get Sound and Shot, Drama Shot, S Translator, S Health, Air Gesture, Adapt Display, Adapt Sound, S Eraser and maybe multiple others that we didn’t got a hold until now.

Galaxy S4 will come to Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile and US Celullar. It seems like Verizon has been left out as there is no official word from them regarding the availability of the Next Galaxy phone by Samsung. There is no official pricing set for it, but we should get more news in the next days.

What is your general impression regarding the Samsung Galaxy S4 ? Do you plan on buying one or will you wait until more reviews are out before deciding ? Tell us in comments if you’re eager to get your hands on Samsung’s latest flagship device.

Not having the exynos 5 octa in lte versions is a deal breaker!!!!!!!!!! Big time guess I’ll wait for the note 3!

    1. What a bunch of BS that the US version will not have the Octa. I don’t think it is a deal breaker but at the same time WTF Samsung. Do you have something against the US, as this is the second time you’ve pulled this crap. We love your phones but give us the full ingredients, not half-way it. Why not embed LTE in when you are making the processor. You have the money and we all know it.
    2. Definitely waiting until I hear what Google I/O comes out with. After that I will decide what I will have next. I am on Sprint, so it really depends whats available. I plan on looking at HTC One, Galaxy S4, and if Nexus or Motorola X phone comes to Sprint… and who knows what else is coming to Sprint. My upgrade is in July.
    3. I watched the live show on the Net. This was the 1st unpacked event I watched. I thought it made the S4 look cheesy with all the skits. But what amazed me was how its shape is so similar to the S3. I would love it if it is the same size, in your hand, as the S3- or even the S2, but whatever.
    4. The dual photo thing sounds awesome.
    5. Temperature sensors (finally on a phone) for the win!
    6. So many features that are just awesome.

Conclusion: This is going to be one Bad ass phone- so I bet it will be sold out before everyone has the chance to get one, followed by the restocking wait. So I am betting on the masses having to wait a bit before everyone that is going to buy it has one. But we’ll see.

How would one go about getting the international version that will work on tmobile’s network? I mean I’m gonna get it regardless but I would much rather have the Exynos 5 Octa.
