The Samsung Galaxy S5 is no doubt the most anticipated and the most rumored smartphone of the year. Expected to see the light of day later this month at Mobile World Congress 2014 event in Barcelona, the Galaxy S5 has leaked once again.
After we’ve seen tons of Galaxy S5-related rumors and reports, now it’s time to take a look at a screenshot that seems to confirm the resolution and the technology used for the terminal’s display. Just like previous rumors have suggested the alleged Galaxy S5 screenshot shows that the handset packs a 5.2-inch display with QHD resolution.
You shouldn’t mistake qHD resolution which has 960 x 540 for QHD resolution which is also known as 2K and brings four times more pixels than 720p screens. If the screenshot is authentic, then the S5 will sport a 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD display with a pixel density of 560 ppi.
In the past we’ve seen Galaxy S5 leaks that showed a 1080p display, therefore we are advising you to take the rumor with a pinch of salt.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 launch event is exactly one week away, so our wait is almost over. According to the rumor mill, Sammy’s next-gen phablet will sport a Super AMOLED screen, octo-core Exynos 6 / Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and 16 MP primary camera.
