Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Specs and Photos Leaked Online

After Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, the tablet that was already launched by South Korean company, we are now expecting the Tab 3 line-up to be completed with new models like Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. Well, today we get to see the first leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, as well as some technical specifications of the new Android-powered tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 looks a lot like the 7-inch model, only that the bezel around the display is visibly thinner. According to Sammobile there will be two Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 variants: one with 3G+WiFi capabilities and a WiFi only model, codenamed Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T310 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T311, respectively.

According to the same website the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box,  of course with Nature UX on top of it. As you’ve probably guessed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 sports an 8-inch display that has a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels and TFT technology.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 specs list also include a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor (most likely the Exynos 5 Dual SoC from the Nexus 10 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 unit), 1.5 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable using microSD cards of up to 64 GB.

The connectivity features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 include EDGE (850/900/1800/1900) HSPA+42Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps (850/900/1900/2100), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0. The 8-inch tablet also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and a 4,450 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 comes with a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera and a rear-facing 5 megapixel unit, while being 209.3 mm tall, 122.2 mm wide, and 6.95 mm.

Well, it seems that besides the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, the South Korean company is readying another competitor against Apple’s iPad Mini?
