The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is a mid-range smartphone meant especially for students, in other words for those who want a good phone but are low on budget. The device is now available on Virgin Mobile. The Galaxy Victory was firstly launched by Sprint back in September, but those who are not so fund of Sprint have now another carrier option.
The handset is available for only $299.99 and can be purchased from the carrier’s online shop. The interesting is that the price is set for the pre-paid variant, which makes it a nice deal in case you don’t want a contract.
The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE sports a 4-inch WVGA screen and it’s underpinned by a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core CPu clocked at 1.2GHz. It also includes 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3 megapixel one in the back, 2,100 mAh battery and NFC support.
The Galaxy Victory will ship running Android 4.1 Jelly bean, which is a big plus as Sprint’s version only comes with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
However, if you want the on-contract version, you should know that the monthly payment is $35 for Virgin’s Beyond Talk unlimited data and messaging plan.
