We are just one month away from the debut of Mobile World Congress 2013 event scheduled to debut on February 25th in Barcelona, but, in the meantime we get to have a look at the latest rumors about the aforementioned tech fair.
Rumor has it that Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 will debut at Mobile World Congress 2013, a successor of the water and mud proof smartphone that was officially announced in 2012.
The guys at Sammobile, one of the most reliable sources of leaked Samsung unreleased products, were the first ones to talk about the new Xcover 2.
The website posted a complete list of technical specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2, which includes a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It seems that the terminal will also pack a 1,700 mAh battery, 5 megapixel camera mounted on the back, 4 GB of internal storage, and extra storage via microSD card support.
Just like its predecessor, Galaxy Xcover 2 will be water, dust and mud resistant and it’s supposed to run either Android 4.1 or Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Unfortunately, Sammobile isn’t mentioning the processor underpinning the smartphone, nor the amount of RAM.
