Samsung Teases Galaxy S5, Hints at a Water Proof Design
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be officially introduced on Monday at Unpacked 5 event held in Barcelona. According to a Samsung executive the design of the new flagship will “go back to the basics,” while recent reports have shown that the S4 follow-up will bring great specs, worthy of a high-end Android smartphone of 2014.
Ahead of the Unpacked 5 event, Samsung is teasing the Galaxy S5, calling it “The Next Galaxy,” the video focusing on themes like Speed, Outdoor, Fun, Social, Style, Fitness, or Life.
But the most interesting theme that appears in the 36 seconds-long teaser is “Wet.” We’ve heard some rumors saying that the Galaxy S5 might come with a water and dust proof case and the teaser video below might confirm them.
As a refresher, the Galaxy S5 is expected to arrive with a 5.25-inch QHD screen, octo-core Exynos 6 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 MP primary camera, fingerprint sensor, and Android 4.4.2 out of the box.
