Even if many of the Sharp’s smartphones are kept inside Japan territory and only few are released in US and Canada, Sharp decided to launch a much better variant of XX 203SH and SH-02E in Russia, named Sharp Aquos SH930W. Why is it so surprising? Well, first of all, the two smartphones I just mentioned, are Japan-only versions and the idea of launching a better version of those models outside of Japan, doesn’t fit into the Sharp’s policy. But anyway, the release date of Sharp Aquos SH930W has been set for November 9th, according to our sources and it’s going to be something different from what Sharp used to show us.
Beside the release date, we couldn’t get any information regarding the price of SH930, that is something which is not known yet, but we have some other goodies for you. Yeah, that’s right, we have the full phone specifications and I have to admit that I was impressed with a particular spec.
The display is by far the most impressive feature of Aquos SH930W as it may be the sharpest display you’ve ever seen on a smartphone. It is a 5-inch Full HD display with 440ppi pixel density, and I haven’t seen or heard of any smartphone to feature such a big pixel density ( if I am wrong, let me know ). It provides a better image quality thanks to the IGZO panel which has the role of draining less power, making it more economic.
Apart from its display, Sharp Aquos SH930W is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm 8260A dual core processor and will be released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It also has a 225 GPU Adreno and the possibility of increasing the internal memory trough the microSD slot. Even if it doesn’t have 4G LTE, it is still a smartphone which can help a regular user to deal with common tasks, but if Sharp will ever consider to bring Aquos SH930W on american soil, they better equip it with 4G LTE, otherwise it will be useless.
We are waiting for post-reactions of this smartphone, and who knows, maybe Sharp will change its policy and try to make international models rather than country-only smartphones, otherwise it has no chance of being a feared name among competition.
