Sony ‘Honami’ i1 Camera App Gets Unofficial Port to Sony Xperia Z

Sony is yet to unveil its latest mobile product, the Honami, but there are a lot of related reports surfacing the web presently. One of the device’s main attractions is clearly its camera and it has been the subject of many debates, which is not surprising at all considering its abilities. If you are not familiar with the rumors, the camera of the Sony Honami is said to be capable of taking 20 MP pictures and record full 4K resolution video.

One of the users of the XDA Developers forum named krabappel2548 has posted a set of instructions on how to utilize the camera application of the Sony Honami with the company’s current flagships, the Sony Xperia Z, Sony Xperia ZL, and the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. That’s right, the camera software can now be utilized on all the mentioned devices, courtesy of  krabappel2548.

The software works just like the other camera applications developed for Google’s operating system, but it includes a series of new features meant exclusively for the Honami, like pre-configured art filters, visual search, ultra fast focusing, and augmented reality.
