Sony is having important plans for its fans, as during the IFA 2012 event from Berlin, the company is planning to reveal and release several Android powered smartphones. The same can be applied for the Xperia J ST26 handset, which is in its last stage of manufacturing. The phone is not a spectacular one, but it should be perfect for an entry-level customer that doesn’t have high expectations from its smartphone. I have mentioned some of the Sony Xperia J ST26 specs and features list below, so you can easily make a background view about this upcoming handset.
We don’t know many things about the phone, such as future availability on the market or future price tag, but we managed to reveal some of its performances and capabilities. Therefore, for those interested, the Sony Xperia J ST26 specs will include a large 4 inch WVGA display (854 x 480 pixels resolution), a single core 1 GHz Qualcomm Processor and a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and auto focus. Beside these, the device will feature the usual Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA, Bluetooth connectivity and the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. There is no info about the possibility of a future Jelly Bean update, but probably it will be one.
As you could see above, the Xperia J ST26 will be a mid-range smartphone with decent specs and features, but with nothing important to impress the audience. Sony will release the phone in three versions, depending on the color you prefer: white, black and pink. The price is still unknown, but maybe we will find out more in the coming days. Remember that Sony will release the J ST26 during the IFA 2012 event from Berlin, so until then, this is all you get.
