While everyone is waiting for the Sony Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet, we now have a leak of a mid-range phone, the Xperia T2 Ultra, which looks like a low-cost 6-inch device.
The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra D53XXX got leaked in high-quality photos of the box and the device itself, which means the company didn’t struggle enough to keep it secret. It also means the device is almost ready to be released, so it might hit the market this month.
Sony’s new Xperia T2 Ultra will come with a 6-inch 720p IPS display, a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Surprisingly it will feature a 13MP primary camera, along with a 1.1MP frontal one.
It’s 3,000 mAh battery should secure it a long lifetime, which is really good for a mid-end device. Fortunately the Xperia T2 is also dual-SIM.
We expect the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra’s release date to be later this month, but we don’t know if it will be available world-wide, as most dual-SIM phones are headed only to specific markets.
You can see the device in the gallery below. It’s not as awesome as the Xperia Z2, but it does look very good for a mid-end device, which should come with a low price tag. Thanks to digi-wo for the photos.
Would you buy the Xperia T2 Ultra if it came with a low price ?
