Since this is the LTE variant of the Tablet Z, then it means that it lacks support for 1-Seg TV and NOTTV. This tablet has been first announced this year in January in Japan, while the MWC 2013 event in Barcelona was the location for the worldwide presentation. Currently, the Xperia Tablet Z is the lightest tablet with 10inch screen and it is the evlolution from the Xperia Tablet S.
Now that Japan received the tablet we will get new reviews and better info about its overall performance. Other countries are only considering pre-order for now and there is a high demand for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z which should make it a strong competitor for the Nexus 10 tablet. Along with the Xperia Z smartphone, Sony hopes to compete with Samsung and HTC and establish itself as one of the greatest Android device creators.
