The official Android 4.4.2 KitKat OTA Update is pushed right now for the Sony Xperia Z smartphone.

This update has been confirmed by Sony Mobile’s Blog web page.

Android 4.4.2 KitKat is the latest OS OTA Update available from Google and Sony has decided to roll it out today worldwide for Xperia Z device. With this new update you will get several new things such as revamped system UI with new Quick Settings button and menu, new status bar that transparent and it has white status icons, support for emoji characters, smart social camera, Battery STAMINA mode improvements, cloud saving support for WALKMAN, Album and Movies from Sony Entertainment Network, and more.
