The Sony Xperia Z is listed on the official Sony online store. The price for the SIM-free version of the phone is AU$749. Sadly, the company doesn’t offer any information about when the smartphone is supposed to start shipping, except for the fact that the customers who make a pre-order will get priority from the first batch of devices.
Although it isn’t clear yet, t seems that the Xperia Z is available in only one color version, namely the black variant. Rumor has it it’s going to start arriving to the customers as of March. For the people who don’t already know, the Sony Xperia Z comes with a 5-inch 1080p display and it’s powered by a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz manufactured by Qualcomm.
The display is water and dust resistant, which is one of the reasons why the handset seems to be so appealing for the users. The device also sports 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), a 13 MP rear shooter, and a 2.2 MP front-facing camera.
