A fix for the Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S4 is now being rolled out by Sprint. As you’ve probably guessed we are talking about a minor software update, so you won’t be able to notice any big differences between the software you are currently running and the software after the update.
As I was mentioning above, the Android 4.3 software update MK2 for Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 is now being rolled out and, according to the change log published by the US-based carrier, it “resolves sleep mode issues.” Therefore, if your Galaxy S4 was affected by this bug you might notice slight battery life improvements after you perform the OTA update.
As usual, the Sprint Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 OTA Software Update MK2 is being rolled out in phases, therefore not all users will get it today. If you didn’t receive the system update notification yet, you know the drill: head to Settings > More > About Phone > System Update > Check for Updates and check for it manually.
As a refresher, the Samsung Galaxy S4 sports a 5.0-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, quad-core 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32/64 GB internal storage with microSD card slot, 13 MP rear-facing camera with 1080p@30fps video recording, 4G LTE, WiFi, NFC, IR blaster, and a 2,600 mAh battery.
Any Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 users out there? Have you guys received the MK2 software update? Please let us know in the comments section.
