  1. On your computer use this link and download the update file.
  2. Then, connect the handset with the computer by using the USB cord.
  3. Copy the downloaded file from the computer to your phone’s SD card.
  4. Remove the USB cord and turn off the Gio.
  5. Reboot in recovery mode.
  6. You can enter the recovery mode by pressing the Menu and Power buttons at the same time.
