I did it and followed your inistruction letterly , and I flashed it successfully but after booting up and trying to register device, got operation failed although in setting about it is stated that official device status, what can I do to overcome this problem which mean that I will never be able to update automatically in the future before passing by this step of registering device, any help?

i am no expert just read that it changes your device code or something. maybe it will be ok when you flash the one for your region. i am still waiting…..

I have flashed my N8000 from Saudi Arabia with this (I leave in Nigeria) every went well except that I cant register my device. Will I be able to flash when the rom for my device is available?

Can this and/or the OTA be rooted? I received the US OTA 2 days ago and would like to get root access for my tablet, GT N8013.

is the rom not region specific? I believe only the US and German 4.1.2 have been released so far. if you flash a room that is not for your region it can mess things up.
