I downloaded the app, opened it up, used the option to root the device, then used the option to close the hole and installed clockwork recovery.

I dont have any problems with the camera. but once I installed a new rom, everything works perfectly. I’ve used the camera not that much, but the times I’ve used it, was working ok.

by the way, I’ve tried the 8013 rom on the 8010 and it’s MUCH MUCH better, plus it’s cyanogenmod, which I trust and know more.

I found the rom better, plus the clockworkrecovery which is given, is not a touch version, but it’s more compatible and less buggy, the zedomax clockworkrecovery doesnt install all roms, has some problems, the link I gave, has a clockworkrecovery which doesnt have those problems, except it’s not touch, you need to use the volume up/down and power button to navigate the options

Also if you want to know an easier way to root, try exynosabuse, a small app which utilizes an exploit in the system to root, then can close the hole for you afterwards, i round it easier than the other way i found whils reading the article. If you are on a mac, look for a tool called heimdall, its like fastboot from the android sdk, use that to flash the clockwork recovery, i had to use 1.3.1 because 1.3.2 wouldnt work forme.
