Recovery mode = Vol UP + Power + Home button…..keep holding it…system will blink twice and you are in recovery mode.

I’m sorry, but there was an error in the post. You have to check “USB Debugging”, not Samsung Kies.

Thanks for the guide. At step 8 the ISCOM doesn’t turn yellow and in my phone there is no “Settings -> Wireless and Network -> USB Settings” and enable the Samsung Kies option.

Any ideas how to proceed?

To enter recovery mode you have to shut down your device and then hold volume up + home button + power buttons simultaneously for about 15 seconds. In recovery mode you can navigate with the volume keys and press the power button to enter an option.

i have followed and successfully done till step no.13 , now from step 14 where i again need to reboot the device and gointo recovery mode i tried volume down key, ok, key pressed togather while powering on but it still takes me in download mode.
can u pse help me step by step and to complete from step no. 14.Now reboot as showed before and enter in recovery mode.
15.From the recovery mode menu choose “Wipe cache partition” and Wipe data factory reset”.
16.After completing these tasks select “+++go back+++” followed by “reboot system now”.
17.That’s it. from 14 till 17 i am stuck here- as even odin dosent have recovery mode — pse help to complete the process – tks n regds
