Good news, guys, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Motorola RAZR i is finally rolling out in UK. The firmware update is confirmed on Motorola’s official blog, where you will also find a couple of videos demonstrating some of the new features brought by the update.
Motorola RAZR i was announced in September 2012 and officially hit the market a moth later with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. The US-based phone maker promised that the smartphone will receive an upgrade, and now we hear that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Motorola RAZR i has officially began the roll out.
After you update your Motorola RAZR i to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean you will be able to enjoy all the features of the new version of Google’s mobile operating system. Officially introduced in June 2012, Android Jelly Bean brings the highly appreciated Google New, the buttery smooth Project Butter, zero shutter lag for the camera app, improved notifications area with expandable notifications and many other more goodies.

Motorola RAZR i is the company’s first smartphone powered by an Intel processor, the Intel Atom Z2460 unit clocked at 2.0 GHz, with PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. Motorola RAZR i also comes with a 4.3-inch edge-to-edge Super AMOLED Advanced display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, 8 GB of internal storage expandable using microSD cards, and an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD video recording support.
In terms of connectivity it comes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1, NFC chip, HSDPA, and microUSB 2.0.
As usual, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Motorola RAZR i will be rolled out in phases, the owners of the unlocked terminals being the first ones to receive it.
