Hi Alex, has Ronel Medina finally fixed his Note?
Has anybody else tried this ICS 4.0.3 ROM that apparently doesn’t need Root?
I would like to install ICS in my phone but am concerned that something might go wrong.

I am currently testing another custom ICS 4.0.3 ROM on my Galaxy Note and I’m going to write a guide for flashing it in just a few hours. Please stay put because until now it worked flawlessly and it’s way faster than the gingerbread rom.

Finally got it running. But i think it mess up something in the mic during call. I can clearly hear the other side of the line but that side can only hear hisses on my side. tried using the voice recorder and the mic works just fine. I dont know how to fix this. I wanted to revert back to Gingerbread but i dont know how to do it also. Pls help. thanks.

You shouldn’t cancel it, you better wait. Otherwise try again.

Please let us know if it worked. Also how does the ROM works on your device if you managed to update it ?

upgrading my galaxy note to ICS 4.0.3 as instructed. but its taking too long in uploading the hidden.img. is this normal?
