Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXLQE is a new firmware that has been made available for the Poland, Ukraine and Germany. Other countries will receive it soon enough. However, those of you who don’t want to wait can easily upgrade your Galaxy S Advance phones using the instructions listed below. The build date of this new firmware update is April 9th, 2013, it brings improved Google Now, enhanced notifications panel, buttery smooth interface and multiple other new features.

- your device has to be factory unlocked.
- make sure that your computer has the Samsung USB Drivers installed on it. This will make sure that your phone will be recognized by your computer allowing you to successfully flash a brand new firmware.
- enable the USB debugging option from the Android Developer Options. Note that after you upgrade your device to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, you will notice that the Developer Option menu will be gone. In order to restore it, you will have to open Settings, then About device and tap 7 times on the Build Number section.
- the phone’s battery should be charged and its power levels need to be over 50%. This will prevent the phone from powering off in the middle of the updating process.
- disable all antivirus applications from running on your computer.
