i don have an option to flash from zip, only from usb drive. why is that?

It depends on your location and carrier. If you check for updates and it says there isn’t any, it means that it’s not available yet for you.

It’s obviously been several months sense this post. I just got the xoom, and it’s updated too 3.2 but it says it’s up to date? Whats the hold up? I really don’t want to mess this thing by manuly flashing anything. Nearly bricked my bionic twice doing that, now it’s not able to update, anyways. How long does it take to receive the ics update notification after first use??

Although, I’m in Cr, the phone works all right, should be 4band and 4band 3G too so it will work with any carrier. I
