Verizon delayed the Galaxy S3 release date once again
The Galaxy S3 release date on Verizon has been delayed a few times already and now we get one more release date for Samsung’s flagship device. Now the date has been set for July 19th, after they promised to ship the device on the 11th.
We don’t have any information about the reason of their delay, though we can guess they faced the same issues as the other carriers. Most carriers delayed shipments due to shortage, because Samsung seems to have sold much more than they expected to.
Samsung has sold more than 10 million Galaxy S3 units already and they’ve also had problems with the Pebble Blue one, which they had to recall. Now problems have been fixed and Samsung struggles to keep up with the orders.
The US customers have always had problems with the Android devices, as they are released much later, though Samsung struggled to ship the Galaxy S3 in the US right after Europe.
There are many people awaiting for the Galaxy S3 as it’s the most popular smartphone at the moment and it does come with some impressive features. The Verizon Galaxy S3 features a dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP primary camera and 1.9MP frontal one, comes with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal memory, expandable via microUSB.
The device has been released in Europe on May 29th in Europe and it began reaching carriers around the world as of June, though some are still due to get it.
