The LG G Pad 8.3 LTE release date for Verizon has been rumored for a while and now it’s official. We’re now two days away from the March 6 release date. It seems like the tablet will reach both online and brick-and-mortar stores at the same time and until March 10 it will be only $99.99 with a two-year agreement.
The LG G Pad 8.3 LTE will be available for $199.99 with a two-year contract after March 10 and if you don’t want any strings attached then you’ll have to pay its full price of $299.99.
If you’re looking for a new 8-inch tablet, then the G Pad 8.3 might be your best choice, considering that it comes with a decent price and high-end hardware. It features an 1080p Full HD 8.3-inch IPS display, a 1.7Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. It also comes with 16GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 64GB through a microSD card, a 5MP primary camera along with a 1.3MP frontal one.
The LG G Pad 8.3 LTE weights 338 g (11.92 oz) and it measures 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm (8.54 x 4.98 x 0.33 in).
The G Pad 8.3 was initially released back in September 2013 at IFA Berlin and in December Google also released the Google Play Edition, which comes with stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
As we’ve said in our Best Android Tablets in March 2014 article, the LG G Pad 8.3 is one of our favorite tablets right now, especially if 8-inch is the size you’re looking for.
