Verizon LG Lucid: Release Date, Price and Specs Officially Announced

After the recent rumors regarding the future availability of the LG Lucid, Verizon finally announced the first official aspects about the phone release date, pricing offers and full specs list. The Lucid will be made available during this week, so if you are interested in buying it, you must start counting your saves, though you don’t have to be worried as being an entry level smartphone the price will not be high. Further details can be read below; check it out.

If you can’t remember, let’s see what is with this new handset. First, the LG Lucid specs are not impressive. Unfortunately, LG is providing (once more) a low range device, with nothing to impress. The performances are decent, but you can’t compare it with other smartphones available on the market. The design is poorly made, leaving a plastic-made taste. It’s not looking smoothly and the only thing that can leave a good impression is the large screen. So, I can only say, common LG, you can do more than this!

Now, the phone is coming with a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM memory, a 5 MP rear facing camera capable of full HD (1080p) video capture along with a VGA front facing one, a large 4 inch display, support for 4G LTE connectivity and the Gingerbread OS. As you can see no chance to see the Ice Cream Sandwich here, though Verizon is promising an OS update in the coming months, but we know what’s with these updates and how long it takes until you can apply them.

As for the Verizon LG Lucid release date, the company stated that you can buy the phone starting from March 29th (online and in stores), meaning that the big event is tomorrow. The Lucid price through Verizon will be $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two year customer agreement as usual. In case you like it, take a walk through Verizon and see it for yourselves.
