Well, we’ve heard before that Verizon is planning to add the Sony Xperia Z2 to their line-up, but now we get to see a photo of the device taken form Sony’s official website.
The photo was spotted by one of Droid Life‘s readers on the Sony Korea website and, as might have already noticed, the terminal has a big Verizon logo on its back. The photo was taken down in the meantime, but the reader was lucky to get a screenshot of it.
Sony officially announced they are expecting the unlocked Xperia Z2 model to debut on the US market in late summer, but neither the Japanese company nor Verizon have confirmed that the device will be arriving at Big Red. Anyway, we’ve heard some rumors saying that the two companies had partnered for an exclusive US launch for the Xperia Z2.
Hardware-wise, the Verizon Xperia Z2 will be similar to the international mode: 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, microSD, 20.7 MP primary cam, 2.2 MP secondary cam, 3,200 mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
