When Samsung introduced the Galaxy S5 about a month ago during the Unpacked 5 event in Barcelona, the company’s representatives said that their flagship for 2014 will debut globally on April 11. While Sprint and AT&T both revealed the Galaxy S5 price, Verizon was yet to let us know how much the Sammy smartphone will be in their stores.
Big Red revealed today that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 price has been set at $199.99 (after $50 mail in rebate), but it’s bound to signing a two-year agreement with them. If signing contracts with carriers is not your thing, you can also get your hands on the Verizon Galaxy S5 off-contract at $599.99.
As you may know Verizon is currently running a buy one get one free offer and we are please to announce you that the Galaxy S5 is also eligible for it. Of course, you will need to get a plan for the second phone too.
Verizon is now accepting Samsung Galaxy S5 pre-orders and if you want to book one you can do it on their website. The handset is available in Charcoal Black or Shimmery White, both models coming with a huge Verizon 4G LTE logo on the back.
