Vivo is back with yet another selfie-centric for India. The company, today, launched the Vivo V7. It is a smaller version of the Vivo V7+ that was launched a few months ago in India. Taking from its bigger sibling, the Vivo V7 retains most of the specs with expected changes in the battery capacity, storage capacity, and the screen size. The Vivo V7 features an 18:9 display and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs. 18,990.
Regarding specifications, the Vivo V7 is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 7.1 Nougat with FunTouch OS skin on top. It features a 5.7-inch HD+ FullView IPS display (720×1440 pixels) and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device comes powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC clubbed with 4GB of RAM.
The main highlight of the Vivo V7 is its 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and ‘Moonlight Glow’ selfie light that ensures brighter selfies. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera onboard with f/2.0 aperture and flash. The Vivo V7 comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM Radio, and Micro-USB. A 3000mAh battery backs the device.
Vivo V7 features a slew of sensors such as proximity sensor, virtual gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and digital compass. The device measures 149.3×72.8×7.9 mm and weighs 139 grams. The smartphone is now available for pre-booking on Flipkart and will have its first sale on November 24, Friday. The device will be available in two colour variants – Champagne Gold and Matte Black colour variants. Flipkart is running some pre-booking offers for the device, which includes exchange offers, no-cost EMIs, and one-time free screen replacement.
