Vivo Y31A Spotted in TENAA Database, Packs 4.7-inch qHD Screen and 4G LTE Support

Last month, China-based phone maker Vivo send their high-end device named Vivo X6x Plus to receive the TENAA certification. Then we learned that the smartphone will be equipped with a display measuring 5.7 inches, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage space and many more features worthy of a flagship. No too long ago, a new phone with the Vivo brand, this time a cheaper one, has reached TENAA’s door steps. The handset is called Vivo Y31A and thanks to the TENAA document we can offer you with information regarding the phone’s technical specifications. The Vivo Y31A was created to take the place of the Vivo Y31A which was released in 2015.

According to the TENAA document, the handset will come packing a 4.7-inch qHD IPS screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 and a pixel density of 234 ppi. We notice that it has a slight different display if we compare it with its predecessor, the Vivo Y31, which sports a 4.7-inch HD screen. When it comes to the hardware located under the casing, the we expect that the Vivo Y31A will have a 64-bit MediaTek MT6580 quad-core CPU running at 1.2 GHz helped by a Mali 400 graphics processing unit, and 1 GB of RAM. The 64-bit MediaTek MT6580 will have support for dual sim dual standby, which is nice, as for the operating system, it will be shipped running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on top of which the company has added their own UI called FunTouch. It also, offers 16 GB of integrated storage space which can be expanded by inserting a microSD card in the available slot. The native storage can be extended by up to 128 GB.

When it comes to taking photos, the Vivo Y31A will come sporting an 8 megapixel back-facing camera with LED flash, and in the front there is a 2 megapixel snapper to satisfy your selfie needs. It terms of connectivity features that the Vivo Y31A will provide we can name 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. This is another aspect that differentiates the device from its predecessor (this time it’s a good thing) as the Vivo Y31 doesn’t include 4G-LTE. While we cannot tell you the size of the battery that will keep the smartphone alive as the information has not come to light yet, we can mention that the appearance is comparable to the design of the Vivo Y31.

The Vivo Y31A measures Vivo Y31A and it has a wight of about 141 grams. It’s not sure how many versions of the phone will be available for purchase color-wise, but the we know that a White color option will exist because it’s the one featured in the TENAA document.

Even though the phone maker hasn’t officially confirmed the information about the Vivo Y31A, TENAA listings are never wrong. On the plus side, now that the device has been given the certification, there won’t be much time until the smartphone will be officially unveiled. In case you are interested in buying the Vivo Y31A, stick around and we’ll probably provide you with more details in following days as soon as we find out more.
