The LG G3 launch event will debut in a couple of hours and if you want to watch the event live you have a couple of options available. You can either watch the LG G3 launch event live stream on Youtube or you can go to LG’s official websiteas the event will be broadcasted there, as well.
Recent reports that surfaced online in the past couple of months have revealed almost all the technical specifications of the LG G3, therefore the launch event that is set to debut in hours will be just a formality.
If the reports are proven true, the the LG G3 will arrive with a 5.5-inch display with an impressive resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, while the handset will be underpinned by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and quad-core Adreno 330 GPU.
Even though it was reported that the G3 will sport 3 GB of RAM, it seems that after all the South Korean phone maker has settled for “only” 2 GB of RAM, which are more than enough for delivering a good multitasking experience.
As you may know from the LG G3 leaked photos, the new handset will have a brushed metal finishing for the back lid. It’s uncertain whether the device is made of real metal or just plastic with an metal finishing. On the back of the smartphone there’s a 13 MP camera with OIS+ and 4K video recording, helped by a laser beam that will improve its autofocus. Just like its predecessor, the device has the power and volume buttons placed on the back, right below the camera sensor.
The LG G3 will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, of course customized with LG’s proprietary user interface. Leaked screenshots of the LG G3 UI revealed that the interface got flatter, but we can’t know for sure yet what new software features the company prepared for us this time.
