Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy Note 4 will be released in Q3 or Q4 2014, but we don’t have an official release date yet. We also know a bit about it and we have a lot of rumors flowing. In this article we will summarize everything we know about the Galaxy Note 4, including its specs, features, design and release date.
We expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to be announced in September and released in October, this year. It will probably come with the best hardware available, along with a slightly bigger display over the Galaxy Note 3 and a new design.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Specs
The Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or 810 processor, Adreno 410 or 430 GPU, 3GB or 4GB of RAM,. If it’s going to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, then it will probably be the first Android smartphone to come with a 64-bit architecture processor.
We also believe it to come with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal memory, but it’s possible to lack a microSD card slot, because Android seems to stop supporting it.
Galaxy Note 4’s battery should also get a small boost and we expect it to have a capacity of around 3,500 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Design & Display
Displays are Samsung’s best area of expertise and the Galaxy Note 4 will most likely take advantage of it. We expect its display to be similar to the Galaxy S5, but it might have a 2K resolution of 2560×1600 or 2560×1440.
Some rumors are also talking about flexible Youm three-sided displays, but we aren’t very sure if Samsung will decide to use them on the Galaxy Note 4.
Its design might also get a revamp, but we aren’t sure yet if it will be based on the Galaxy S5 or the company will choose a new direction for it.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date
We believe that Samsung will announced the device at IFA Berlin, in September. Its international release date should be in October, about a month after its official announcement.
